Update from Team Heat

Hello,

We are working on a new website, or maybe this will be it, we don't know but until then we are going to be posting information on this blog and also on our MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/theheatboys

We have been taking time away from The Heat lately.  Our last show we played was in August '06 in Tokyo, Japan for Summer Sonic Festival.  Was that the last Whirlwind Heat show for all time?  Maybe?  but we don't know, and since we have a new record about to be dropped, I doubt it was.  And I have been itching to tour for a while now.  I love driving the van and looking at nothing, thinking, and playing shows.  When your on the road you feel free.  I love it,  Make sure to keep checking back to see about shows.

We did music videos for every song on our last record TYPES OF WOOD.  We are still trying to get those put up on the web for everyone to see.  Hopefully soon.  They are really great, if I can say so myself.  

The new record is slamming.  Its my favorite I think.  There is only 9 songs on it.  Its called SCOOP DU JOUR.  Its probably the most personal Heat album to date.  We can't wait for everyone to hear it.  You can check out a couple covers Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" and Sugarloaf's "Green Eyed Lady" on our Myspace page.  Plus you can tune into East Village Radio Podcast http://www.eastvillageradio.com  Elhaam has been playing one of the new tracks called "Out of My Mind" on her show.  Plus look for me to be on the show, DJ'ing, talking and playing some dice this month.

Also, Steve lives in LA, Brad in Chicago, and I, David in New York City.  Make sure to say hello if you see us walking down the street.
